The English Times of Katerini
To encourage my kids to write better compositions I decided to give them a target, and started "The English Times of Katerini", a "newspaper" written by 10 - 15 year old native Greek speaking children from schools in Katerini. It works ! You can visit our site at: www.spark.net.gr/pieria/etimes
One contributor, Despina Papathemelis, was the youngest student in the world to pass the Cambridge First Certificate exam this summer with an A grade, one week after her twelth birthday.
