Call the Doctor
When I realized that hangman is now a politically incorrect game, I decided to make a variation of it called "Going to the Doctor". Tell your students that doctors charge "an arm and a leg". (After you explain this idiom), tell them that it costs even more if you have to send the whole person to the doctor! Then play "hangman" without the gallows.
