is a great movie for beginning and intermediate ESL. After the ship sinks in the first 15 minutes there is almost an hour of silent action as the boy befriends the horse. This lends its self to repeated viewing, discussion, description, descriptive writing and great ESL on any language level. Beautiful photography too.
