Twisted Vocab

I am teaching kids 6-13 years old in Berlin, Germany as part of a club. I used this as part of my Thanksgiving lesson, using words such as cornbread and turkey. This game uses any vocabulary desired and is great fun! Participants: 2-6/pad Prep: Twister game pad or well secured colored circles. Tape four vocab words onto each corner of the Twister spinner. Print one of each vocab word for each student. Directions: Find four words that you want them to be able to recognize well. Have them tape or tie each of the words on each hand and on each foot. It does not matter if they have the same word on the correct hand or foot. Then use the spinner (Left Hand, blue = Cornbread, blue) and spin away. Megan Ghysels Berlin, Germany
