The Price is Right

Home Main Submit Contents Recipes

This game is great if food or objects are the focus of the lesson.

Have the students guess the price of something (example, a dozen tangerines). Whoever comes closest without going over (in this case, 4.2 kuai) gets a point, so keep score. Even if you have no idea what a 1 GB iPod costs, and your retail price of 400 kuai is apparently way off, the losing students will argue with you in english!

Play as many rounds as you see fit. Give the winner a prize from the game, such as a tangerine.
