The proper use of a DVD
A DVD has (x) scenes. First watch scene one without subtitles. Pause after scene one and write 3 - 4 lines on what you think happened. Proceed to next scenes, doing the same.
Then watch movie with subtitles. Check after each scene to see if you were correct.
Goal: to cause the student to pay more listening attention to the movie.
