Word formulas
Write some word formulas on the board O2P2 (output)
S1Q5 (sequence)
A1P2 (apply)The formulas consist of two letters from the word and the number of letters in between. Output is O followed by 2 letters then P followed by two more. They look like chemical formulas!
Write a formula and meaning on the board and see if students can guess, e.g.
T4F3 = so
