Kindergarden Ice Breaker - Physical Humour
I've found that the best ice breaker for kindergarden classes is a little bit of Three Stooges style physical humour. Pretend you can't open the door when you arrive on the first day, trip over your chair, drop your books and cards as often as possible, lose your marker in plain sight, bump your head on something...
The kids will go nuts with laughter, they will relax, and you'll have their undivided attention. I've sucessfully used this in a class in Korea where 3/4's of the class burst into tears when I walked in for the first time. (They had never seen a foreigner).
