Connect-the-Letters
This game is similar to connect-the-dots only you use letters instead of numbers. Simply place scrambled letters of the alphabet in the order you would write a word and make copies for every student. Then, students draw the lines as you call them to form a word in writing. I used this with first year junior high school Ss, and it worked great! The Ss were quiet and listening attentively...especially when they realized that the first person who said the written word won a prize!
