This is a great way to get the students thinking about words on the spot e.g. new vocabulary or words with matching phonetic sounds, well that's what I'm using it for. So, get a couple of balloons, stick a piece of paper inside with anything on from an instruction to a phonetic symbol and blow it up and tie it! Now you're ready to play Pop It! in pairs the Ss have to pop the balloon but without using their hands or feet, so between the two of them they must try to squash it or whatever but Pop It! Then to find the piece of paper and follow instructions. Always a hit with my classes. Nadia, Phuket Thailand :) Njoy!!
