Word Association
![]()
This is very basic and is good just for finishing off a lesson or even starting a lesson to get students thinking. It went down very well with my intermediate class. All you do is get the first person in a circle of students to think of a word, the next person has to quickly come back with a word associated with the first. The third person has to say a word associated with the one before and so on. One way of ensuring the game is not endless is to ask the students to try and get back to the starting word.
