This is Halloween!?
Hello. I have a good idea for Halloween. I use the song "This is Halloween" from the movie "The nightmare before Christmas".
First of all, have the students listen to the song and fill in a worksheet which has blanks. If you have lower level students, I reccomend multiple choice. In that way they don't get lost or bored while they are listening to the song.
Listen to the song a couple more times. Check the answers and explain to them the meaning of the lyrics. Also, if you make a vocabulary work sheet, it will help a lot.
Finally, listen to the music and then watch the movie. It is really fun, so I am sure that your students will love it.Keiko Shimakura
