
Let the Kids Decide

Giving kids an exercise to do on the whiteboard, which can be as simple as copying text, lets them perform in front of their peers. They so much want to do this that a call, in the local language, of “If you are quiet and sit properly, I will call you!” creates instant, absolute silence. It worked in Taiwan with kids from 5 to 10 years of age. Stephen (Sydney, Australia)
