Even Better Boggle
Got this idea from a friend when I told him about my boggle game. He said his way is better and here it is. In advance make a print with four or six prepared boggle grids, mixed up letters and all. Number the grids. The pre-made print is better than the random choosing of letters, because beforehand you can put vowels in the right places - in the center of the grid - so the kids can find lots more words. Divide the class into teams of 2,3 or 4 kids, give each team a print and a sheet of paper to write the words down. Start with grid number 1, give the students 5 minutes to brainstorm and write down the words they find, then team by team they share one word from their list until they run out of words. The team with the most wins the round. Then go on to grid 2.
