Planet of the Apes
Planet of the Apes (the original) is excellent for promoting discussion. There are many themes including: animal rights, the future, dominance, etc. The greatest opportunity afforded, is discussing portions regarding future, present, and past (the movie switches between the three often) - hence, separate tense lessons.
The language isn't too complicated for students. Also, it is a movie that many foreign students are unlikely to have seen. There's even five of them, if you need, or want.kiwi
