Tic-Tac-Fun
![]()
Tic-Tac-Toe is a fun game. I've always loved it. When things become bring in class, I just take it out to freshen up the mood.
Use it for anything, pronunciation for example. Divide the class into two groups (if you have a fairly small class). Fill each tic-tac-toe box a with similar-spelling-different-sounding words. Such as heart-beard-heat-heard, etc.
Ask the students to pronunce correctly. If they succeed, they get a cross/circle. Continue until a group manages to complete a line of 3 crosses/circles, horizontally/vertically/diagonally.
You can do the same thing with tenses. Write in each box, a tense. (Simple Present). Ask students to make a word using the tense. If they succeed, they get a cross/circle.Ira, Jakarta
