Tobasco Treat
Here's one for you. Write out a story of about ten sentences on the blackboard or on a transparency that can be projected (this should be done in advance). Have one or two grammatical or spelling errors in each sentence. Stand in front of the class with a bottle of tobasco and a cup of tomato juice. The class needs to work together to figure out all of the mistakes that are in the story. Each time they correctly point out a mistake, you pour some tobasco sauce into the cup of juice. If and when they find all the mistakes you congratulate the students, pick up the spicy beverage, and chug it to your students' delight.
