This is an expansion on Dan Harms' idea of cutting songs line by line, and having the students put them in order on the table. I find taht often the stronger (or more bossy!) students tend to run with it, while the others seem left out. What I like to do is pick a short song (depending on class size) and give each student a line. Play the song, and when they hear their lines, they must line up in the correct order. It will take a couple of times to get it right. Regardless, this way, everyone gets to participate.
