Online MA in TESOL!
I just rediscovered the game, OPERATION, where players perform "surgery" on a patient by removing body parts with tweezers. (The trick is to get these parts out of very narrow places without touching the sides, which will sound a buzzer and light up the patient's nose causing the doctor to lose his/her turn!) Some of these "parts" are silly, but some are more real, and allowed me to go into two level lessons: beginner lesson for learning the names of the parts of the body; and a more advanced lesson concerning phrases and idioms for the body, (for example: "funny bone" "charlie horse" in the stomach). Of course, I supplemented with my own material, too. The kids (and teacher) had great fun "operating"!
