Cardinal numbers paper planes

Home Main Submit Contents Recipes

Just get them to make paper planes, and let them stand at the end of the classroom, lined up. Then count 1,2, 3 and then they throw the planes. Tell them that they cant touch the planes. Get them to name the planes.

Individually get them to come up and say where their plane is in the order. "My plane is first"- "my plane is second".... etc etc.

One could also roll a ball to the end of the classroom in turn, maybe it will bounce off the back of the wall but thats all part of the fun! Then put named bits of paper where the ball landed. Then get them to say where their ball is.
