You can also say times with hours and minutes
in several different ways:

as numbers only

11:10 = eleven ten
7:25 = seven twenty-five
4:40 = four forty
6:54 = six fifty-four

Note: The minutes 1 - 9 are read as
oh one, oh two, oh three, etc.:

1:05 = one oh five;
8:08 = eight oh eight, etc.

with A.M. or P.M.:

11:12 =
eleven twelve A.M. /
eleven twelve P.M.

3:23 =
three twenty-three A.M. /
three twenty-three P.M.

6:09 =
six oh nine A.M. /
six oh nine P.M.

with in the morning, in the afternoon,
in the evening, or at night:

1:06 =
one oh six in the morning /
one oh six in the afternoon

6:14 =
six fourteen in the morning /
six fourteen in the evening

Remember that 12:00 during the day is usually
called noon and that 12:00 during the night is
usually called midnight.

Note:

We can say "___ minutes before (etc.) / after
noon" or "___ minutes before (etc.) / after
midnight," but we do not say *"noon / midnight
o'clock" or *"noon / midnight ten / fifteen, etc.
