Does anybody have any suggestions how I could update my training? I did my TEFL in 1992 but from 1995 on I taught French in the UK. I'd love to return to EFL teaching. I don't have a lot of spare cash!

With your rusty TESL skills and low budget needs, consider volunteering as a classroom tutor at one of your local nonprofit ESL/literacy organizations. This offers an opportunity to work alongside a seasoned ESL teacher. Moreover, you can request to be observed and given feedback by a supervising teacher for times when you lead the class.
