Good luck with that stimulation exercise in front of the teacher. Things have certainly moved on since I started out - the most I think I had to do was a demonstration lesson - just straightforward teaching, basically.

I think you'll need to look up frequency adverbs - preferably in a good grammar book - perhaps you have some recommendations from your TEFL course? And then it's a basic grammar lesson, right? I don't think anyone's expecting you to explain why words come in a particular order in a context; they just do. What you're expected to do, I think, is to highlight certain patterns - i.e. how words like 'usually', 'sometimes' etc tend to come before main verbs (I rarely post here) and after auxiliary verbs (I'm rarely here). That sort of thing.
