In Response To: Switching from Adult ESL to K-12? (MW)

I have been accepted into a MEd program at Regent University in TESOL focusing on Adult Education. The masters in education program at Regent does offer a K-12 track and there are only a few courses different between the Adult and K-12 tracks. It seemed easier for me to start off teaching adults, but I would like to be qualified to teach K-12 too, but how do you make that switch? Or not really a "switch", but rather qualify to teach kids too.

This is a discussion you really need to have with your program advisor since some universities don't allow for that kind of program overlap, especially when they involve specific teaching qualifications (i.e., licensure).
