In Response To: advise on CELTA class (Edward)

On your second inquiry, yes, you will find it very difficult to unlikely to find legal teaching work in France.

France, a member of the EU (European Union) community, hires EU citizens or those individuals not necessarily born in the EU but who have ancestry traceable to an EU country.

For example, if your grandparents/parents were born in an EU country and then emigrated to the United States you qualify for EU citizenship; hence, you can legally work in an EU country.

You must go through the lengthy and very bureaucratic process of proving bloodlines which can be done at the country's foreign embassy.

Again, without EU citizenship finding a legal EFL teaching job in France, despite your impeccable academic credentials, will be very unlikely.

Eastern European countries would be your best bet to research.
