In Response To: TEFL Training (Geno)

I've done a fair amount of English teaching in the Republic of Georgia and Viet Nam.

I do not have a degree, and am considering getting a TEFL certificate.

I'd really appreciate the chance to dialogue with someone, by email, phone or Skype, who really understands the ins and outs of this whole realm.

Is there anyone who knows this realm well who would be willing?

Plenty of teachers willing to guide you---head over to the Cafe's newbie jobs discussion forum (forums.eslcafe.com/job/viewforum.php?f=43). But in a nutshell, you'll find the minimum for many TEFL jobs (and work permit requirements) is a bachelor's degree. So a TEFL cert won't cut it on its own.
