I would like to get a bachelors degree so that I can become a esl teacher in Asia. I am thinking about going to the Philippines to get my degree. Is a degree from the Philippines nationally recognized when you are applying for esl jobs? I am a native english speaker and I will also be getting a celta certificate too.

Sure, a degree from the Philippines is nationally-recognized... in the Philippines. You didn't state your reason for heading there for your degree; however, keep in mind that you run the risk of employers in other countries turning you down or paying you less money solely because your degree was not obtained from an accredited university in an Anglophone country, especially since you're a native English speaker. Choose your university carefully.
