A lot depends on where you want to teach. Many countries only require 'a degree' in something; you have that.
Anything more, on an ESOL or education front, will get you slightly better contractual conditions and enable you to do the job lightly better.

There are many ways to do 'anything more', including online courses, weekend seminars, and the 'Gold Standard' beginner teacher training courses such as CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL.
How an 18-hour add-on from a Uni faculty compares to those, I have no idea; I don't know the content of this endorsement, or whether it includes observed teaching practice time, but it would certainly fit into the 'better than nothing' category.
