Dave's ESL Cafe's Teacher Training Forum

endorsement or certification

Hi, I'm confused. I'm getting a master's in communications (have one in social work), I can get an 18 credit hour add on ESOL endorsement. I just don't know if it would be better to get certified or get the endorsement. I want to teach English abroad. My bachelor's is in social work, I don't have any college credits in education. I don't want to teach domestically (I'm from the US). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
