It's however quite hard to distinguish which Tesol providers are complete bogus and whoch ones are 100% legitimate. The course I did doesn't have a 100% kosher accreditation either, but the course was great. Being placed in schools emmediately and finding out myself how I had to teach with the Tesol company as a great support, not a gestapo total control system. I agree with previous posters. 120 hours with a minimum of 6 hours teaching practise is the bare minimum for a course. Validity of the course doesn't really matter.
