Is there a bad time to do a TEFL course?

I am planning to leave my job and take a CELTA course. With my notice period and the duration of the course, I will probably be looking for jobs (in Sth america or Asia) in April or May. Is it likely there will be very few jobs at this time or do they come up reliably all year round? Thanks in advance if anyone is able to help:)
