In Response To: Grammar Overview for New Teachers? (Kelly)

Just go out and buy an English language textbook or a set of them (they are usually organized by topic, but concentrate on a single main grammar point- the English Firsthand series is a basic one if you can get it). It will have all the basics in it (pedagogical grammar) and you can go through the basics while telling them that they are looking through a set of textbooks. Have a list of internet sites and/or grammar manuals ready to suggest if people ask.
