With a job offer in hand and a promise of training, why not take it. Get some foreign teaching experience and find your feet so to speak in the TEFL world.

After you've experienced first hand what foreign language teaching is and living in a foreign country for awhile, you are then in a better position to decide whether you want to be in the TEFL field on a long term basis to which a CELTA may open more TEFL doors for you.

All contracts are intimidating no matter what academic institution you choose. A CELTA isn't going to make the employment contract any less intimidating.
