In Response To: TKT VS Tesol VS EFL (Leonardo)

I am teaching English full time and would like to get certified. The closest certification that I can get which I can do on weekends is the TKT from Cambridge, however I am planning in teaching abroad next year. Is the TKT certification as good or well recognized around the world as the Tesol, EFL etc....? Any feedbback would be appreciatted.
Thanks

For some countries, your TKT certification may will be acceptable.

To be on the safe side though, you should do more research and find out exactly what country(ies) you are interested in teaching and then go to Dave's International Job Board and see what TEFL/TESL certification employers demand of their prospective teachers.

Most global TEFL/TESL employers will cite the CELTA or any other TEFL/TESL certificate obtained from a reputable delivery institution.
