I agree with most points, but for idea son jobs and qualifications look on eslcafe's job lists, and tefl.com and similar places.
I have certainly known ESL teachers in China and Korea where their child was allowed to enroll free at the school where they were teaching(or the affiliated primary school, if teaching at a High school or University).
