In Response To: certification (MC)

Much depends on where you want to teach. In regions where the job market is more in favor of employers, yes, you would need certification. the key element is supervised teaching practice with feedback from experienced instructors on how you've done. The main thrust of entry-level cert courses is the basics of the approaches and methods used to teach languages. Grammar is very much secondary. I don't think any reputable course provider would allow you to skip the grammar component, though getting through it should logically be easier for you than for trainees lacking specific education in the language.
