Hi Kate!
I am so glad that I saw your post. I am currently working on my MLIS, and I plan to graduate next December. I was looking into opportunities to utilize my grad & undergrad degrees. With librarianship changing constantly I would consider thinking about whatever technology skills you may have learned. In my LIS program, tech is really pushed. I see this degree as being pretty versatile if you're willing to branch (pun intended) out from the library. Information management is something that may help with future job prospects. I've been learning quite a bit on HTML coding and web design for library usability. Plus I'm learning a lot about other software such as SpringShare and learning management systems like BlackBoard. I say the more library tech you know the more you can market yourself. Goodluck!
