I am looking got obtain a teaching position in South Korea. I have a BA in English and (professional and technical writing) is the concentration. This is not a teaching/education degree. Will I still need the TEFL or TESOL? Or will the English degree suffice?

It depends on the teaching situation you're interested in. But since your questions are job-related, you'll get the best responses on the Cafe's Korea job discussion forum (forums.eslcafe.com/korea/).
