In Response To: Bachelor Degree (nancyjosie)

I would like some information regarding obtaining a Bachelor Degree online.

First, I will tell you a little about myself. I am Canadian and I have 10 years of teaching experience in Italy. I have an Associate Degree and a Tesol Certificate. I have worked with students of various age groups, giving courses to Italian students in company structures as well as to school children. I understand the needs of different students and I am goal oriented in giving my utmost to the students learning.

I am looking for the opportunity to explore another culture and I would like to teach in the Middle East but this is not possible unless you have a Bachelor Degree.

I would like to know whether it is possible to obtain a Bachelor Degree online and if so, would this be recognized worldwide.

I'm sure you're quite capable of researching online degree programs on your own---perhaps choosing a TESOL-relevant degree program from an accredited university that has a strong bricks-n-mortar presence in an English-speaking country.

In regard to worldwide recognition, this is a gray area that no one can predict. For instance, an online BA could be rejected or off-putting to an employer even if it satisfies the country's visa requirements for employment.
