In Response To: Teaching English in Korea (Jude)

Yes, it is true that in general many Korean schools prefer white teachers, but there are certainly quite a number of non-white teachers working there. It may just take a little longer to find work. The state run programs tend to be less racist in this regard.

There are a number of articles online about racism in Korea which you might like to check out. But this aside, with a 4 year degree and a TEFL cert you should be able to pick up work.

Good luck! Jenny - ICAL TEFL
