Teaching English in Korea

Hi everyone,

I'd love to teach English in Korea...

Currently, I am an Australian qualified registered nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing.

But I am keen to teach English and learn about Korean culture more...

Actually, I'm a Korean ethnically but an Australian in nationality.

And I've got an Australian bachelor degree in nursing.

I am just wondering if I am eligible for E2 visa to teach English in Korea... as soon as I get a TESOL/ TEFL cert.

I've done my secondary education in a non-English speaking country but I've finished my bachelor's degree in Australia and resided here over a decade.

Sounds silly but I heard that Korean employers highly prefer WHITE native English speaking teachers... is it true?
