In Response To: Teaching ESOL at the University Level (Sally)

When I taught EAL/EAP courses at two British universities and an Australian university I found several permanent staff had BA's and CELTA but no Masters. For overseas work it does seem that a Masters is useful for university (probably vital in the Middle East) posts and a DELTA for language schools. UK and Australia have reasonably priced distance Masters programs, maybe Canada and New Zealand too.
