Many countries only require 'a degree in something' and a native ability with English, so you should be fine on the qualifications. The experience and qualifications you have will make you even more in demand.
a TESOL might help a little more in hat direction, but you certainly won;t NEED one.

Length of contract; many places want someone for the academic year (September-June/July). But some places take people for one term/semester, usually starting in January-February to replace anyone who resigned mid-academic-year.
