In Response To: Certification: Legit or Useless?? (Aaron Olafson)

Many schools have a mixture of clients, General English adults, youth, children, and some business clients.
Some don't, some concentrate on one type of those varieties.

If your job involves mixed typed of class, you can't specialise in all.
But if you like and want to do a lot of teaching with one type of class, then the extra training will help you do that job better and thus get better jobs/contracts in the area.
