That's odd, as examples of past students' work, or textbook examples are exactly the sort of thing I'd expect you to be shown as part of the preparation and briefing for assignments like this.

Then you'd go away and design one for your type of class (as all the examples and literature will show you how there is not a one-size-fits-all example, much as some places might like there to be).
