Thank you for the responses, and ideas to think about. Taking time off from my job to do an on-campus MA is not an option, so the biggest take-away is to ask for a certificate guaranteeing the equal value of the distance program. Nottingham is a large and well known university, and am hoping that will reduce the chances of those hiring doubting my credentials.
I might just apply for jobs afterwards and take the DELTA if problems arise.
