In Response To: Master's recommendation (John)

Try Australian universities. Many offer very reputable and affordable Masters Programs in TESOL, TEFL, Applied Linguistics, etc.

I did my Masters with the University of Tasmania (M. Ed. TESOL) on a part time basis while I was teaching.

You are correct: A Masters degree will open many more teaching doors for you and if you like Asia, Australian university academic credentials are well recognized and acceptable there.
