Thanks for the reply - I'm to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced to a police agency. I'm a former U.S. Police Officer with experience working in hot-spots across the globe - just spent the last three years in Afghansitan.
I'm to teach these guys/gals how to communicate in English as it relates to their jobs... I was very clear to the hiring manager that I have never done this before and am not TESL qualified however, they didn't care. They wanted an American native speaker and the fact that I am former militar and law enforcement meant I was a "shoe-in"...
I have bought TELS for dummies and this is helping me out a lot actually... I've subscribed to pay-sites where lesson plans are available and after some research I have a few ideas.
I apprciate your help and advice!!!
I like your ideas and will use them!
