If you google "Military English" you will find some good resources. It helps if you have had military service. Soldiers prefer such teachers in the same way as Business students like teachers with business experience. English for Peace Keeping (EPK?)is a growing discipline. The US military has developed many language courses such as Military Yoruba, Hausa, various Arabic dialects, Pashto, Dari, Amharic, Tigrinya, and Somali, so maybe they have a military English course too. An Ethiopian Colonel has asked me to help him find an English for Military Attaches course - I think that kind of course definitely has a future. I once used the thirteen videos and book on the Ten Thousand Day(Vietnam) War to teach English to one of the North Vietnamese generals who captured Saigon.
