In Response To: Would love some advice! (June)

Pleased to see you are looking at our ICAL program! As regards teaching without a degree you can sometimes find work without a degree in these countries (although getting a TEFL certificate is strongly advised):

* Argentina
* Colombia
* the Czech Republic‏‎ (although you will need a passport‏‎ from an EU‏‎ state to teach here)
* Ecuador
* Indonesia
* Mongolia
* Myanmar
* Russia
* Sri Lanka
* Venezuela

In Japan it's almost impossible to find work teaching without a degree, but there are a number of teachres in Taiwan without although they tend to work in the lower end of the market. Recently in Taiwan the downturn in the economy has meant finding work is becoming harder so you are probably better off in one of the countries above.

Are any of these a possibility for you and your friend?
